Well my brother did end up getting to visit me and that was really
good. We got to hang out some and talk and all that jaaaazz. He
came to the cru meeting here and I brought him along to ze barn dance as
well. He seemed to think the meeting was ok, but he hates country music
and dancing so the barn dance was kind of a bust

Overall though, I had a good time with him, I just wish we had more
opprotunities to hang out. Oh and we totally whooped up in team SSBM,
take that hippy roommates ;P
Went to Mardel and bought stuff Saturday when my mom came for Joe. Going to Marderl is always a joyous occasion for me ;P
The barn dance was really fun! Most of the stuff we learned was really
simple, which is a huge plus for me since I am terrrible at dancing.
That whole lack of rhythm and coordination thing kinda hurts me. I did
enjoy it though. Amanda and I danced for a bit and decided that we were
"equally yoked" in dancing ;P We pretty much totally nailed it though. Other than dancing it
was good to hang out with folks and have a bon fire. Yar harrrr
Today was good. Sunday school was about the same as usual and then I
went to do the pre school thang, and that was greeeeat. Working with
kids is so much fun. While we wait for all the kids to arrive we have
em watch movies and this week it was cartoon music videos based on
Bible passages (very corny) and while the kids watched they would
occasionally get up and dance. In case you were wondering, that's a
sight to see

Then during story time Chloe (see last weeks entries)
walks up to me and is talking in a low whisper about random two year
old stuff, which is pretty funny, and then she turns around and starts
paying attention to the story. She's standing in front of me and I'm
sitting Indian style, after a while she like looks behind her and
carefully steps closer to me and then plops down on my lap, and then
just continues listening to the story. It was very, very cute :-p After
that I was in the room where kids like play with toys and are supposed
to learn a lesson, and well that was interesting. You try teaching 8
kids a lesson! I doubt the kids learned much, but we all had a good
time. The boys built trains and then eventually guns out of big legos.
Hope made a castle which, as I am told, had a princess living in it,
and then a lot of kids played with the toy washer and dryer and the
McDonalds thing. Afterwords we had story time again. I was sitting
there waiting for all the kids to sit down and Chloe walks up to me,
and says "Shhhhh, my kitties are sleeping." with her finger over her
mouth. I ask her what kitties she was talking about and it turns out
she ment the ones on her dress pattern. Me and the other teacher who
was
sitting there were very amused. There's really nothing like wathcing
two year olds dance and talk about sleeping kitties. I really do enjoy
doing preschool Sunday school
After church me, Paul, Chris, a girl from Calvary, and the Roger's
family all went to lunch at Ryan's. The food was tasty and we swapped
funny stories about past jobs we'd had and teachers we thought were
funy and all other manner of random things. Eventually the staff came
out and sang for Jolayne since it was her birthday. It was funny to see
these really apathetic tired looking people sing a song where they
mentioned how excited they were
Now I sit at work and am lazy, it is good times indeed. That about does
it for Mr. Adams, hope you all enjoyed my disjointed rambelings!
